Five people killed, 3 others injured after two cars collide on Namanga-Kajiado highway

Five people died and three others were left in critical condition after they were involved  in a road accident along the Namanga-Kajiado highway on Saturday.

The accident occurred after a head-on collision between a Probox and a personal salon car.

The Probox, which was headed to Ilbisil had several occupants and four of them died on the spot while others sustained serious injuries.

The salon car, which was headed to Namanga, lost control and the driver who is alleged to have been drunk died on the spot.

The bodies of the deceased have since been moved to the Kajiado County Referral Hospital mortuary, while the injured are receiving treatment at the same facility.
