Floods watch: Live updates across Kenya

Heavy rains
have rocked various regions in the country, with the Kenya Meteorological
department predicting that the situation will continue through May 2024.
As a result,
rivers and dams have burst, leaving homes submerged. Victims of the floods have
had to camp on top of trees, and roofs, waiting for the waters’ rage to subside
before seeking refuge in safe areas.
On Wednesday, April 24, the rains left heavy destruction in parts of the country, especially Nairobi County and its environs.
