Former President Uhuru Kenyatta has arrived at the home of the late former Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha to condole with the family.

Images seen by Citizen Digital on Tuesday show the former President being ushered into the family's home in Lavington alongside the former First Lady Margaret Kenyatta.

They later appended their signatures to the condolence book in the presence of family members and friends.

Prof. Magoha's former colleagues also flanked the ex-president among them Former Interior CS Fred Matiangi, Ukur Yattani (Treasury), Eugene Wamalwa (Defence), Joe Mucheru (ICT) and former Interior PS Karanja Kibicho.

Also present was Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka.

The former Head of State had earlier instructed his former cabinet to be present at Prof. Magoha’s home in Gem, Yala, Siaya County, for the burial.

He had also issued an order to the team, led by former Interior CS Dr Fred Matiang’i and Raphael Tuju, to form a committee to aid in burial preparations.

This even as the government of the day has also appointed ICT CS Eliud Owalo, Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo, and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s Chief of Staff George McGoye to aid in the same.
