Former Tanzania President Jakaya Kikwete holds talks with President Kenyatta

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Sunday held talks with the former President of Tanzania Jakaya Kikwete who paid him a courtesy call at State House, Nairobi.

The two leaders discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest to the two countries and regional integration.

The former Tanzania president was in the country to attend the funeral of former First Lady Lucy Kibaki in Othaya, Nyeri on Saturday.

During the funeral, Kikwete also conveyed a condolence message from President John Magufuli and the people of Tanzania.
