Police in Nairobi have nabbed four foreigners suspected to be Burundians while in possession of 15 kilograms of cannabis sativa, popularly known as bhang.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), in a statement on Wednesday, said detectives from the Anti-Narcotics Unit raided a house belonging to prime suspect Haggai Anakeya Aniango in Kamulu on Kangundo road.

His three alleged accomplices; Mario Amukula, Josephine Shimunza and Shirimana Dorine were also found there and nabbed in the process.

The officers ransacked the house and managed to recover the bhang in form of dry plant materials.

DCI further noted that the four had no identification documents, and were taken to the Kasarani Police Station awaiting arraignment and the drugs secured as exhibits.
