Four killed after matatu rolls on Njoro-Mau Narok road

Four people were on Thursday killed in a road accident at Davision area on the Njoro-Mau Narok road.

The accident occurred when the driver of a matatu headed to Nakuru from Mau Narok lost control while attempting to avoid hitting a child that was crossing the road.

The matatu however still hit the child before rolling several times on the road.

The child died on the spot whereas three other people succumbed to their injuries while receiving treatment at the Nakuru Level Five Hospital.

Several other passengers received serious injuries and are presently receiving treatment in the same facility.
