Four killed, four others injured in Mombasa crash

Four pedestrians were killed and four other people were seriously injured as a pick up lost control in Scope Area along Changamwe-Jomvu road, Mombasa County on Monday.

Confirming the incident, Changamwe OCPD Joseph Muthee said the driver of the vehicle and his turn boy were among those injured in the evening crash.

The injured – two men, one woman and one child – were rushed to Coast General Hospital for treatment.

Eyewitnesses say the vehicle veered off the road and injured the pedestrians at about 6:30 pm, Monday.
