Four killed in grisly Timboroa accident

Four people have died and several others were injured when a public service vehicle (matatu) rammed into a trailer at Khaoya, Timboroa area, along the Nakuru-Eldoret highway.

Confirming the incident, Koibatek OCPD Jonathan Wafula said the ill-fated Eldoret Sacco matatu had left Nairobi on Friday evening, ramming into the tanker at about midnight.

Injured persons have been rushed to Moi Teaching Referral Hospital in Eldoret Town, while the bodies of the deceased  were taken to Eldama Ravine Hospital Mortuary.

On December 16, 4 people died and 24 passengers were declared critically injured after a TSS bus lost control and veered into a ditch at the Mazeras blind-spot.
