Fresh Chaos Erupt in Mombasa Wednesday Evening

Reports say angry youths started attacking and robbing people as they stabbed those who resisted.

This occurred immediately after the burial of one of the youths who died on Tuesday following the violence that broke out at Masjid Musa a few days ago.

According to victims led by Edwin Otieno and Rodgers Kariuki, the angry youths armed with knives and crude weapons confronted them and robbed them.

Meanwhile, the controversial Muslim Preacher Sheikh Abubakar Shariff Makaburi has accused the police of attacking muslims who were conducting a peaceful meeting in Masjid Musa last Sunday.

Abubakar claimed that the rifles recovered inside the mosque were allegedly planted by the police.

He also claimed that the number of people who lost their lives in the Masjid Musa violence was 8 and not 2 as reported.

The chaos at Masjid Musa erupted after police raided it and arrested youths who were allegedly attending a radicalization seminar.
