Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has filed a case at the Milimani law court challenging IEBC's decision to summon him over election rigging remarks.

He claims that his right to a fair hearing and fair administrative action have been violated, adding that IEBC has assumed jurisdiction it lacks.

"The conduct by the respondents is unbecoming of public officers," he argues.

"The applicant, being aggrieved by the said actions of the respondent has thus filed this application in order to seek redress from this Honorable Court pursuant to the Court's jurisdiction," reads court papers

Kuria argues that IEBC has proceeded to assume non-existent jurisdiction and the law to harass him.

He claims that he honoured the said summons, however, he accused the commission of turning it into a hearing despite having failed to give him a prior notice .
