Governor Gachagua’s body arrives in the country

The body of the late Nyeri Governor, Nderitu Gachagua, arrived at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi Thursday, March 2 morning.

The body was accompanied by three members of the Council of Governors and family members.

Gachagua’s body was received by eight of his fellow governors as pallbearers among them Governors Ukur Yattani (Marsabit), Sospeter Ojaamong (Busia), Okoth Obado (Migori), Patrick Khaemba (Trans Nzoia), Jack Ranguma (Kisumu), Paul Chepkwony (Kericho), Kenneth Lusaka (Bungoma) and the second Nyeri County Governor, Samuel Wamathai.

Kisumu Governor Jack Ranguma will lead the governors and the rest of the country in viewing the body and paying tribute to the late Gachagua at the Lee Funeral Home.
