A man was arrested on Kiambu Road after engaging police officers in a 2-hour shoot-out on Saturday night.

Footage seen by Citizen Digital showed tenants at Coral Bell Apartments in Thindigua trying to catch a glimpse of the late-night drama from corridors and balconies.

Sounds of gun shots rented the air as police officers ducked for cover.

They had been tipped-off by a member of the public who reported hearing gun shots coming from one of the apartments.
