The outspoken lawmaker spoke to the media on Wednesday and claimed that the Kenyan judicial system was the weak link in the "battle against homosexuality in Kenya."
"We have to return the SC and petition the court to reverse it's decision," Kaluma said during a press briefing, "We must get the court to reaffirm the tradition definition of sex, which is male and female determined at birth,"
The MP stated that Kenya must pass the Family Protection Bill as soon as possible in order to put an end to the "LGBTQ madness."
"Our success before the courts will not be easy, but it's the right thing to do, to save humanity," he added
"We must expedite the enactment of the family protection bill, to bring this madness to the end
The MP also read malice into the consideration of a Bill he sponsored in the National Assembly that seeks to criminalize gay relationships in the country.
According to the MP, the committee was supposed to consider the Bill within thirty days, but months later, there is still nothing to show for it.
"The bill is meant to forbid the push to enact homosexuality in our country," the MP added.
"We are engaged in a war, not only to save our society but also saving humanity from extinction. The war is not easy, we are fighting people who are very rich, but the war must be won,"
The lawmaker who promised to keep up the fight against gay relationships claimed he has received threats stating that he will not be allowed to travel to nations where same-sex relationships are not prohibited.
"I have even been threatened that I will not be given visas to travel to the countries that have allowed this perverted thing," he added.
"Even when I went to court, I went knowing that we are going to lose, even as we go back, we are only going to embarrass them, but we will win this war,"
The contentious Bill calls for a ban on homosexuality, same-sex unions, and any LGBTQ-related activities or lobbying in the nation.
By prohibiting the promotion of LGBTQ in the country, Kaluma's Bill suggests the clamping down on its promoters and funding by various groups.
Kaluma, a supporter of traditional family values, claims that the proposed Act's penalties range from death to at least 10 years in prison.
