How to check the 2022 KCPE results on your phone

The 2022
Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination results were released
on Wednesday by Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu.
A total of 1,244,188 Standard Eight pupils sat the exams between November 28 and November 30.
According to CS Machogu, this year’s best score was 431 while a majority of the
candidates (50.2 per cent) scored between 200 and 299 marks out of 500.
Some 9,443
candidates scored over 400 marks, marking 0.01% of the candidature, while 307,756
others scored between 300 and 399 marks, making 24.94 per cent of this year’s
class.
At the same
time the 100 to 199 mark bracket had 296,336 candidates (24.4%) while 724 candidates
scored below 100 marks, which is 0.06% of the class.
For instance, if a candidate's Index number is 123456789, they will send 123456789KCPE to 20076.
"As it is our tradition, the KCPE results will be collected from Sub-county education centres," Machogu added.
Also, head teachers of the respective schools can also download and print their students' results from the KNEC online portal (www.knec-portal.ac.ke).
