I have not been admitted to hospital, Govt Spokesman Cyrus Oguna says

Government Spokesman Cyrus Oguna has rubbished claims that he has been hospitalised at a Nairobi Hospital.

The Retired Colonel took Twitter to clarify the situation after unconfirmed reports emerged on social media on Sunday.

“We have noted reports on social media purporting that I have been admitted in hospital. I wish to clarify that I am well and just got back from an assignment out of town,” Oguna said on Twitter.

He was responding to claims that he had tested positive for coronavirus alongside two unidentified Cabinet Secretaries from Nyanza and Rift Valley.

Rumours were rife that Oguna had been admitted to a Nairobi hospital.
