The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has confirmed that it had received 97.65% of Form 34A's as of 2:30pm Wednesday.

IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati, while addressing the press at Bomas of Kenya said that the total number of polling stations that have submitted their forms are 45,141 from a total of 46,229.

Chebukati however noted that the forms are only for presidential tallies and that they do not have the physical forms as they received the submissions in image forms.

"Results transmission of the forms from polling stations is ongoing and we will address you as we receive more," said Chebukati.

Chebukati went on to affirm that the commission is upholding transparency and that all numbers recorded in the forms are the ones to be used in announcing the Presidential winner.

"We assure Kenyans that there are no other results other than the ones we have on the portal."
