Jackson Kibor’s daughter charged with fraud
Controversial Uasin Gishu farmer Jackson Kibor’s daughter has been charged with fraud.
Appearing before Resident Magistrate Charles Obulutsa in Eldoret, Loice Kibor was charged with duping Hosea Tenai Ksh1.6 million in pretext of importing for him a vehicle.
The prosecution alleged the offence was committed between April and June this year
Ms Kibor, however, denied the charges and was released on a Ksh100,000 bond.
The court had earlier ordered for her arrest after she failed to appear in court twice to answer the charges.
The case is set to be heard on October 11, 2017.
In January 2017, Ms Kibor’s father made headlines when he wedded his 40-year-old wife before he even divorced his second wife after 51 years of marriage.
Two months later, Mr Kibor was charged with two counts of threatening to kill his son and refusal to have his fingerprints taken by police.
