Journalist assaulted by security officers attached to Second Lady Dorcas Rigathi
A journalist has reportedly been physically assaulted by security officers attached to Second Lady Dorcas Rigathi during a relief food distribution which she graced in Gatanga, Murang'a county.
The journalist, who is said to be a Daily Nation correspondent in the county, reportedly drew out his mobile phone to record content for the media house's digital platform.
Soon after recording the Second Lady, her security officers pounced on him and roughed him up.
The altercation was mediated by a police officer, as seen in a video obtained by Citizen Digital.
