The Jubilee Party National officials are now calling for a scientific method within the opposition to be used in picking the flag bearer in the presidential race.

According to the officials, they will not allow any boardroom meeting to select the candidate who will raise the presidential flag, citing that this might jeopardise the preferred candidate.

Jubilee National Chairman Vincent Kemosi Mogaka assured members that party nominations will be free and fair in 2027.

Speaking in Kutus while inspecting the Kirinyaga County Jubilee office, Mogaka stressed that no aspirants would be given a direct nomination ticket.

He was accompanied by the national Jubilee Deputy Secretary General Zack Kinuthia and the local Jubilee chairman Mureithi Kang'ara.

At the same time, he pointed out that Jubilee offices will be opened by presidential hopeful Fred Matiang'i in all 47 counties.

Local Jubilee Chairman Mureithi Kang'ara appealed to all those eying the gubernatorial, senatorial and other seats in Kirinyaga to register at the County office.
