Jubilee Mps: Waki’s Envelope Must Be Made Public

Members of parliament allied to the Jubilee Alliance plan to use their numerical strength in the august house to pursue persons they allege were behind the prosecution of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto at the International Criminal Court. During a parliamentary group meeting today, the lawmakers resolved to push for the crafting and adoption of a motion to set up a select committee to probe the role of foreign embassies and non governmental agencies in the ICC trials, and as Francis Gachuri reports, yet another ICC prosecution witness in Ruto’s case has withdrawn, claiming that he had been coerced and coached by an NGO to testify against him.
