Kasarani: Woman arrested after boyfriend allegedly stabbed to death at a party

Police in Kasarani sub-county within Nairobi are holding two suspects in relation to the mysterious death of a middle-aged man.

The duo, who are the deceased’s girlfriend and his close male friend, are under police custody as persons of interest in the matter.

Sources privy to the matter told Citizen Digital that the deceased - Joseph Njoroge -went on a rage during a party on Wednesday night and attempted to stab the said girlfriend, but was contained and later decided to stab himself on the thigh.

Njoroge's family has however since dismissed this account, insisting that there was foul play in their kin’s death.

Kasarani DCIO boss Justus Ombati said they are presently analysing the mysterious death, adding that they will seek more days in court to detain the suspects as probe into the incident continues.
