KCA University breaks ground for Ksh. 7B infrastructure masterplan

KCA University has broken ground on a Ksh.7B infrastructure masterplan at its Ruaraka campus.
The project, aligned with the university’s 2024-2028 strategic plan, aims to enhance education, research, and innovation.
The event was attended by education stakeholders, government officials, donors, and development partners. Prof. Chacha Nyaigotti Chacha, Chairman of the Commission for University Education (CUE), led the groundbreaking for the first phase, a KES 1.7 billion multi-level academic building.
The facility will feature lecture halls, research spaces, innovation hubs, and digital learning centers.
Prof. Isaiah Wakindiki, KCA University’s Vice-Chancellor, highlighted the institution’s role in driving economic transformation through higher education investment.
CPA Philip Kakai, Chairman of ICPAK, emphasized the importance of industry-academic partnerships.
The Dr. Manu Chandaria Foundation donated KES 20 million toward the project.
The university has called on philanthropists and corporate partners to support its expansion.
