KDF officer arrested for allegedly defiling 8-year-old girl in Nanyuki

A Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) officer from the 10 Engineers Barracks in Nanyuki, Laikipia County, has been apprehended for allegedly defiling an eight-year-old girl.
According to a police report, Sgt. Paul Muriungi Muteria is accused of defiling the minor within the barracks, which is the headquarters for the 10 Engineers Battalion, a unit of the Kenya Army's Corps of Engineers.
He will remain in custody at Nanyuki Police Station awaiting arraignment today, Monday.
