Kenya Power announces day-long power disruption in several regions across the country

In a statement, the power supplier said that the disruption will start from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

In Nairobi, areas of Githurai 45 and Nairobi West will be most affected, while counties of Nandi, Kisumu, Bungoma, Nyeri, Laikipia and Kilifi will experience a similar outage.

This comes amid torrential rains that have caused flooding in most parts of the country, affecting traffic flow along major roads in Nairobi.
