Kenya Power To Revamp It’s Distribution In Mombasa

The company will spend over Ksh 13B for the transformation exercise in the countrywide
The exercise began in Nairobi and will now move to Kenya's second capital city.
The exercise will include changing electric poles, transformers and power stations, according to MD Ben Chumo
Chumo said the move has been necessitated by the frequent power outages experienced coutrywide
He said once fixed, the ongoing exercise will end power outages completely.
Chumo said the revamp will also help the company to increase its revenue collection and improve service delivery
Over 720 employees have been deployed in various parts within the county to do the work
