Kenyans across the country joined the rest of the world in remembering victims of road accidents amid calls for drastic measures to curb spiralling road carnage.

Accident survivors who turned up to mark this year’s world day of remembrance for road traffic victims said their life-changing injuries could have been avoided if safety regulations were adhered to.
