Kidero Sacks Gakuo As Executive Member

Kidero has also sacked Timothy Kingondu who served as the health executive.

Evans Ondieki who survived impeachment from Members of County Assembly as the Transport Executive has now replaced Gakuo as the environment executive.

Kidero blamed lack of funds and the huge debts inherited from the defunct City Council for crippling the county’s capacity to deliver services.

However, Kidero has retained Ann Othoro in charge of Trade, Industrialization, Tourism and Cooperative development, Tom Odongo for Lands and Housing and the Finance Executive, Gregory Mwakanongo.

The new turn of events come shortly after High Court Judge, Isaac Lenaola ordered Kidero not to sack Evans Ondieki, Nairobi County Transport Executive, despite the MCAs push to sack him earlier this year.
