Kisii: MCA aspirant dies after being attacked by unknown men
An MCA aspirant in Mombaba, Bomachoge Borabufor, Kisii County, has been confirmed dead after he was attacked by unknown people on Sunday night.
Thomas Ontweka was seeking the position on an Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party ticket in the August polls.
Confirming the incident, area chief Henry Magetto said the attack is suspected to be politically instigated.
The aspirant succumbed to Injuries at Oasis Hospital in Kisii.
