Kisumu: Two-year-old boy hacked to death, mother and sister hospitalised after attack by gang

The mother, 32, and the boy's sister aged six years are admitted at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital ( JOOTRH ) where they are currently undergoing surgeries.

JOOTRH management said that the mother suffered panga cuts on the head, face, and back while the daughter was cut on the face.

Eyewitnesses stated that the trio who were heading home from Mamboleo market were attacked around 9 pm by a machete-wielding gang whose motive is still unknown.

Kajulu ward Member of County Assembly (MCA) Ben Adega has condemned the incident, calling for action from the police.
