Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu has appointed five new members of the Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA).
Kenya
National Union of Teachers (KNUT) Secretary General Collins Oyuu is among the
five picked for the seats by the CS, according to a gazette notice dated
October 17, 2023.
The others are Executive Director of the Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE) Jacqueline Mugo, and Commission for Higher Education in Kenya (CUE) Chief Executive Officer Prof. Mike Kuria.
Technical and Vocational Training Authority Director General Dr.
Kipkirui Langat, as well as Director of Quality Assurance at the Ministry of
Education Everline Owoko were also picked.

Machogu stated that the five appointees will serve in the State agency for a
period of three years, beginning October 19, 2023.
