A family in Fihoni village, Msambweni Constituency, Kwale County is demanding justice following the death of their 16-year-old daughter, who was found dead after being missing for three days.

The student, Grace Mongeli Nzioki, a Form Three learner at Kinondo Secondary School, disappeared from her home last Wednesday.

Her body was later discovered near a private residence in the neighbouring Mwamaye village.

Her mother, Dorcas Kaluki Mutisya, speaking to journalists, expressed concern that her daughter may have been harmed by people known to her.

She questioned the lack of progress in the investigation, noting that despite reporting the matter to Msambweni Police Station, no arrests have been made.

“Mpaka sasa hakuna mtu hata mmoja amekamatwa… Naomba tupate haki ya mtoto,” she said, urging authorities to take swift action against those responsible.

Fihoni village chairman, Abdallah Athumani, confirmed that investigations are ongoing. He assured the family that local authorities are working to establish what happened and bring the perpetrators to justice.
