Land dispute turns deadly as brother stabs sibling to death in  Bomet

A 57-year-old man is being held by police in Chepalungu, Bomet County for stabbing his 64-year-old brother to death following a land dispute.

Police reports indicate that the suspect used a kitchen knife to fatally wound his brother, Zakayo Kiplangat Ng'etich, who bled profusely before succumbing to injuries.

The suspect subsequently fled the scene.

Confirming the incident, Chepalungu Sub-County Police Commander Phanton Analo told Citizen Digital that a manhunt for the suspect is currently underway.

"We processed the scene and recovered the suspected murder weapon; a kitchen knife," he said.

The deceased's body has since been moved to Longisa Referral Hospital Mortuary.
