Loitoktok: Probe on after male body is found dumped in a river

Loitoktok Sub County police boss Kipruto Ruto said the body was found by herders who spotted it in a river near Kiombero Forest.

"The body of the victim has visible injuries. We suspect the deceased is aged between 40 and 50," Kipruto said.

According to police, preliminary investigations show that the deceased was killed elsewhere and his body dumped in the area.

"We urge families that have filed a missing person report to help with the identification process," police added.

The body has been taken to Loitoktok Hospital Mortuary.
