Magerer Moves To Court For Assault

Through advocate John Khaminwa, Langat has sued Police Inspector General, Director of Public Prosecution and 12 MCAs over the incident.

Magerer further claims that he was assaulted in full view of public and police yet no action has been taken.

The embattled former ODM executive director adds that police have not initiated any investigation or arrested any suspect which he terms as a breach of his fundamental freedoms and rights.

Magerer Langat now wants the court to direct that he be compensated for alleged violation of his rights.

Justice Weldon Korir has set a hearing for 20th March 2015.
