Man “Butchers” Girlfriend Before Hanging Himself

A forty-year old man in Nyeri County is alleged to have killed his girlfriend by slitting her throat before hanging himself. Witnesses allege that the deceased, Jack Muchemi and his age-mate girlfriend Monica Wairimu, returned home drunk Wednesday night only to be found dead this morning. Wairimu’s body also had deep cuts in the head while Muchemi's body was found dangling from the roof of the one roomed house at classic area near Nyeri town.
