Man arrested for defiling 13-year-old girl, raping her mother in Kisumu

Police in Kombewa, Kisumu County, are holding a 21-year-old man alleged to have defiled a 13-year-old minor and raped her mother.

The suspect, Caleb Otieno Osio, is said to have committed the act on May 29, 2019 before going into hiding.

East Othany location Assistant Chief Apondi Okuon, who made the arrest Wednesday evening, said Mr. Osio was positively identified by the victims.

According to the administrator, the suspect reportedly accessed the victims’ house Kanyang’in village through the roof on the said date before committing the act.

He is expected to be arraigned in court.
