Man found with 72 rolls of bhang worth Ksh.3,600 jailed for one a half years

A Nairobi court has sentenced a man to one and half years in prison for being in possession of narcotic drugs with a street value of Ksh.3,600.

Charles Ngugi Wakabo is said to have been found with 72 rolls of bhang at Kirinyanga road in Nairobi County.

Wakabo, according to the sentence report seen by Citizen Digital, is 30 years old and has been abusing drugs for a long time.

He told the court that he started with heroine, then moved to cocaine before he started to use bhang.

The court heard that his family has tried all means to help him but in vain.
