Police in Kisii County have arrested a middle-aged man who is alleged to have hacked to death his two daughters aged 10 months and four years.
Confirming the Friday incident, Nyamache OCPD Kipkulei Kipkemboi said after killing the two children, the suspect dumped the bodies at a family farm in Kiobegi area of Kisii County.
The two minors had deep cuts on their heads an indication that they could have been hacked with a machete.
The bodies of the deceased children were moved to Nyamache Hospital mortuary as investigations into the incident continue.
The motive for the killing remains unclear.
