Man stones wife to death in Elgeyo Marakwet

The suspect, Boniface Kokwon, is said to have been in an altercation with his wife over suspicion of misusing business funds. 

According to witnesses, Kokwon dragged his wife from the shop and stoned her to death. 

The body has been moved to the Iten County referral hospital Mortuary, with the suspect being detained at the Iten police station pending arraignment on Monday.

“Huyo mzee mwenye kufanya hiyo kitendo alikuwa amesimam tu hapo na alikua ameshika kisu kwa  mkono na mawe yenye ndio alikuwa amelenga nayo huyo mama,! Simon Kiplagat, a resident, told Citizen TV. 

“Baadaye tulienda kujaribu kusaidia yeye tukapata bahati mbaya amekufa ata kulikuwa ana mtu.
