IEBC appoint Marjan Hussein Marjan as CEO

Chairman Wafula Chebukati said he was found as the most suitable during the just concluded recruitment process that interviewed five candidates.

Marjan, who was in the role in an acting capacity, is the first non-lawyer to hold the position.

He holds an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi and BCom (Accounting Option) from the same institution.

He is also a certified Public Accountant (CPA-K), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certification in Control Self-Assessment (CCSA), Certified Quality Assessor (CQA) and is also a practicing Member of ICPAK in good standing.

Mr. Marjan is also a member of Information Systems Audit & Control Association (ISACA) as well as a member of Institute Internal Auditor (IIA).
