Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi tests positive for COVID-19

Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi has tested positive for COVID-19.

This was confirmed Friday afternoon by Meru County CEC for Health Misheck Mutuma who said the Governor is under self Isolation.

The CEC pointed out that Meru County currently has 137 active cases.

He, however, urged residents of Meru County to observe COVID-19 safety protocols to curb the spread of the disease.
