Molo OCS Ann Kanori arrested over graft allegations

Molo Officer Commanding Station (OCS) Ann Kanori spent her Friday night in police custody, after officers from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) arrested her over graft allegations.

Police reports indicate that four EACC officers acted on a graft complaint levelled against her by a civilian.

A confrontation ensued at the police station where the anti-graft commission officers were reportedly assaulted, their personal belongings including phones and other valuables went missing, and later locked up in the police cells for 30 minutes.

OCS Kanori was whisked to the Railways police station in Nakuru town on Friday at 11:30pm, after a 2 hour  interrogation at the Central Rift EACC offices in Nakuru.

Four other officers from the Molo police station, who were reported to have been involved in the attack of the said EACC officers, are being held at the Central Police Station.
