Three suspected terrorists killed in Mombasa terror attack

Three suspected female terrorists were on Sunday shot dead during a foiled attack on Mombasa’s Central Police Station.

Mombasa County Commander Paterson Maelo told Citizen Digital that the women attacked a policeman and hurled a petrol bomb at the station’s reception following an argument with an officer.

“One woman attacked stabbed a male policeman twice, while another hurled a petrol bomb at the report officer personnel,” said Mr Maelo.

Two police officers were injured in the incident, with one suffering stab wounds while another had a broken limb.

“General Service Unit officers and bomb experts have been deployed to the station to ensure the women don’t have explosives on their bodies,” noted Mr Maelo.
