Monica Kimani murder trial: Witness tells court Jowie wasn’t attacked as he reported

The hearing of the Monica Kimani murder trial
continued on Wednesday with prosecution witness Chief Inspector Eshwari Njoki
taking the stand to testify.
The Chief Inspector who was then attached to
Lang'ata Police Station and who investigated the shooting incident, testified
that Jowie shot himself.
The investigator dismissed as false claims
that Jowie was accosted by three men armed with a pistol and shot at Royal Park
Estate in Lang'ata.
The case which is being heard before Lady
Justice Grace Nzioka will continue on Thursday with prosecution planning to
present six more witnesses before the defense makes its submissions.
