Murang’a KMTC Nursing HOD Indicted

Mr Henry Mworia was indicted by the government and urged to step aside to pave way for investigations.

KMTC board chairperson Prof. Phillip Kaloki said Mworia has been interdicted and given a rest till further notice.

Kaloki added that the teacher is not guilty of anything but it is protocol in the institution that if there is any complaint leveled against a person, the first thing to do is to step aside as investigation are launched.

“we are not blaming the teacher neither are we saying that he is in any way, involved in the death of the student but all we are doing is to investigate the complaints by the students,” said Kaloki.

Leaders sent their condolences on Friday to the family of the student including cabinet secretary for health James Macharia whose message was read by Prof. Kaloki.

In his condolence, Kaloki said that Dennis was a hardworking bright student who was a role model to other students.

Dennis Isiepei, a final year student at the institution, was found dead after committing suicide after he was denied a chance to sit for his final exam, due to a fee balance worth Ksh.6000.
