Muthama, Ndemo Charged Over Malili Ranch Sale

Machakos County Senator Johnston Muthama, former information permanent secretary Dr. Bitange Ndemo and former lands commissioner Zablon Mabea were charged in an anti corruption court over the controversial sale of the Malili ranch. The trio alongside three others is accused of stealing 179 million shillings from shareholders of the 5,000 acre ranch in Machakos County. They were released on a cash bail of 1 point 5 million shillings each or a bond of 2 million Kenya shillings each.
