Nairobi suburbs set to experience water shortage

Nairobi residents have been asked to brace themselves for a two-day water shortage in most parts of the city due to maintenance works on the pipeline from Ruiru to Kabete.

According to Nairobi City Water & Sewerage Company, there will be an interruption of water supply from Tuesday 7:00 am to Wednesday 6:00pm in certain parts of the city.

Areas that will be hard hit include Estates along Waiyaki Way, Naivasha Road, Westlands, Parklands, areas along Lang’ata Road, Jamhuri, Kawangware, Lavington among others.

This comes barely two months after the company shut down water supply to estates along Mombasa Road among them South B, South C estates and surrounding areas during maintenance of the Ng’ethu Water Treatment Plant.
