A video seen by Citizen Digital showed the MP being led out of a green Subaru and escorted into the courts by security officers.
Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka and other leaders have arrived at the Milimani Law Courts to attend the case of the Naivasha Member of Parliament.
Earlier on, her lawyer Ndegwa Njiru had claimed that he does not know the whereabouts of his client.
In a post on social media platform X, the advocate alleged that the Naivasha lawmaker was whisked away to an unknown destination Friday morning.
He added that Kihara was first brought to Milimani Law Courts at 7 a.m. but was not booked at the holding cells. At around 8.30 a.m., Njiru says Kihara was then whisked away to an unknown destination.
"We are at Milimani, at around 7:00 am, the client was brought here but held at the parking. She wasn’t booked at the Milimani holding cells. She was at around 8:20 am whisked away in a green Subaru to an unknown destination. We are stranded," Advocate Ndegwa wrote.
The MP was arrested on Thursday at her home in Nakuru County, in a dramatic scene captured live on her Facebook page.
A contingent of officers, some in plain clothes and others in uniform, stormed her residence shortly after she met with sand harvesters from Mai Mahiu.
She was seen being led into an SUV and taken to Naivasha Police Station, where she was expected to record a statement, before being transferred to DCI headquarters on Kiambu Road in Nairobi. The MP was then ferried to Pangani Police Station, where she reportedly spent the night.
The arrest comes just days after she failed to honour DCI summons over remarks allegedly undermining the authority of a senior public official.
A notice from Assistant Inspector General George Lenny Kisaka had directed her to appear at DCI headquarters on Monday.
