The fund, branded Kibaba Multi-Asset Special Fund, is denominated in both Kenya shillings and US dollars and targets medium- to long-term investors with a moderate risk appetite. The minimum initial investment is set at Ksh.250,000 for the shilling-denominated fund and $2,500 for the dollar-denominated option.
According to the firm, the fund aims to respond to growing demand among regional investors for access to international markets and more structured investment products.
Speaking at the launch, Ndovu Wealth Limited Chief Executive Officer and co-founder Radhika Bhachu said the product was developed after several years of market analysis and client engagement.
"We created the Kibaba Multi-Asset Special Fund in response to the evolving investor demands in the region and the simple belief that every investor deserves access to world-class investment opportunities," said Bhachu.
The fund will invest across a mix of asset classes, including equities, fixed income, real estate investment trusts (REITs), exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and commodities. It will also employ a dynamic allocation strategy, adjusting portfolio composition in response to market and economic trends.
Ndovu Wealth said the fund is intended to help investors navigate an increasingly volatile and complex global economic environment by maintaining diversification and reducing the need for frequent portfolio adjustments.
DTB Kenya Limited has been appointed as the fund’s custodian, while Kingsland Court will serve as trustee, in line with regulatory requirements.
