Operations at the Government Delivery Service (GDS)
unit that is domiciled at the Office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia
Mudavadi will soon roll out project inspections after the appointment of Agnes
Odhiambo as its head.
Odhiambo who was appointed by President William Ruto
reported to Mudavadi’s office on Wednesday for orientation.
At the meeting, Mudavadi tasked Odhiambo to streamline

agenda.

is tasked with delivering monitoring and evaluation of project implementation.
“Monitoring and evaluation of Government projects will
be key under Odhiambo’s watch as she will be required to give periodic reports
on progress on key government projects,” said Mudavadi.
Odhiambo was Kenya's first Controller of Budget from
August 2011 to August 2019. She is an accomplished professional accountant and financial
manager with over 30 years of experience in public finance management.
Until her recent appointment, she was serving as the
chairperson of the National Transport and Safety Authority of Kenya (NTSA).
